Established in 1946 as a coal merchant
in Dumbarton, William Thompson and Son diversified into quarrying and
landfill operations in 1960. Through target marketing and dedication
the company has grown into the market leader in quarry products within
its current locale.
We are continuously involved in
construction projects with a client base which boasts some of the
country's blue chip construction companies such as Balfour Beatty,
Raynesway Construction, Biwater Leslie and Harte Construction.

The company have developed four main disciplines within its portfolio,
Quarry products, Plant Hire, Haulage and Landfill Operations.
